Cane Bay Plantation

Cane Bay Plantation has over 20 subdivisions

Cane Bay started taking shape in 2005 on a 4,500-acre tract off U.S. Highway 176. Cane Bay Plantation has been ranked among the nation’s best-selling master-planned communities.

In this blog I will talk about the earlier subdivisions built in Cane Bay Plantation

Palmetto Walk

Palmetto Walk is the ideal neighborhood offering easy walking distance to The Cane Bay Market, including Publix grocery store. Conveniently placed near the entrance to the plantation community, with its own private entrance.

Magnolia Plantation

Driving down Cane Bay Boulevard you will find Magnolia Plantation.  Located near the front of Cane Bay it offers easy access to Route 176, shopping at the Market at Cane Bay and North Creek Marketplace Nexton.  Also easy access to the Nexton Extension taking you to Nexton Parkway and to I26. All three Cane Bay schools are within easy walking distance.

Old Rice Retreat

This is where I call home!  Most of the lots in Old Rice Retreat are larger than average and our home backs up to the retention pond looking out at wetlands. At our amenity center there are weekly food trucks, a golf cart parade for the holidays and a spectacular fireworks display for the 4th!

The Oaks

The Oaks is a Natural Gas Community featuring 100% ENERGY STAR® Certified homes that exceed the current ENERGY STAR® requirement. Homes built to these requirements save up to 30% on monthly energy use.  They also have weekly food trucks.

Sanctuary Cove

This neighborhood offers a country setting and at-your-fingertips convenience with close proximity to The Market at Cane Bay and North Creek Marketplace Nexton.

Lindera Preserve

Lindera Preserve offers stylish and charming single-family homes co-mingled in a community that is the perfect blend of all that is natural and all that is comfortable. They also offer the only dog park in Cane Bay Plantation located right of the amenity center off of Cane Bay Boulevard. The YMCA is also close by.

In my next blog I will cover Del Webb (Nexton/Cane Bay Plantation) and  K Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Lakes of Cane Bay.

I keep up to date with everything going on in Cane Bay Plantation and Nexton.  I also know where you can go locally to do pretty much everything from buying a golf cart, having a computer or phone repaired, landscaping, power washing, dog training, etc.  If I don’t know I can find out!
